Shu (Sukiato) Khurniawan has a background in geology with a specialization in mammalian paleontology from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. In 2018, he pursued his study on (bio-)archaeology in Leiden University, the Netherlands.

Since his first encounter with vast number of Indonesian collections in various museums in Europe, he became interested in studying the relationship between art and cultural objects and how they were distributed during the colonial and postcolonial period, especially in Indonesia. This has influenced his interest deeply in the museum studies.

This blog discusses about museums, arts, archaeology, fossils, culture, religion and sometimes random contemplations about life. Most of the post will be written in Bahasa Indonesia.

He is keen to expand his professional networks as well as casual conversations. Please find him in social media provided below or email him at sukiato.kho@gmail.com for any inquiries or a 'Hi!'
